1of10k – Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last Updated: May 2026
1. Introduction
This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, reversals, and transaction-related matters may be handled in connection with the 1of10k platform and related services.
1of10k operates as a technology-enabled digital participation marketplace infrastructure connected to real-world assets, products, services, and experiences.
Users should carefully review this Policy before interacting with:
- marketplace credits
- project NFTs
- NFT activation mechanisms
- campaign-related services
- blockchain functionality
- wallet interactions
2. Nature of Marketplace Credits
Marketplace credits are utility-based digital products within the ecosystem.
Payments made to acquire marketplace credits represent the purchase of digital products and not:
- deposits
- escrow funds
- investment contributions
- financial instruments
- guaranteed allocation rights
Marketplace credits may enable access to:
- platform functionality
- campaign-related services
- NFT acquisition
- voluntary NFT activation mechanisms
3. General Refund Principles
Due to the digital and blockchain-related nature of the Platform, certain transactions may be:
- irreversible
- technically final
- non-recoverable
- dependent on third-party blockchain infrastructure
Refund eligibility may vary depending on:
- transaction status
- blockchain execution status
- NFT activation status
- campaign-related activity
- fraud prevention considerations
- applicable consumer protection laws
4. Marketplace Credit Purchases
Marketplace credit purchases may generally become non-refundable once:
- the digital product has been delivered
- credits have been made available to the user account
- blockchain transfers have been completed
- platform functionality has been accessed using the credits
The Platform generally does not provide direct monetary refunds solely because a campaign does not reach completion or activation thresholds.
If a campaign does not proceed, does not reach its required activation conditions, or is cancelled before allocation procedures begin, associated project NFTs may become inactive for that specific campaign.
In such circumstances, the Platform may provide users with equivalent-value participation vouchers, credits, or replacement campaign eligibility mechanisms that may be used within future campaigns or platform-related services.
Example:
- User acquires marketplace credits associated with a campaign
- The campaign does not proceed or fails to reach activation requirements
- The associated project NFT becomes inactive for that campaign
- The user may receive an equivalent-value participation voucher or replacement allocation eligibility for future campaign-related services
The Platform may review exceptional refund requests on a discretionary basis only in limited circumstances, including:
- duplicate transactions
- verified technical errors
- unauthorized payment activity
- legally required consumer rights
5. NFT Activation and Campaign Allocation Procedures
Project NFTs may function as voluntary activation keys associated with campaign allocation procedures.
Once a user voluntarily activates a project NFT:
- associated campaign allocation procedures may begin
- participation unit identifiers may be generated
- associated marketplace credits may become temporarily locked
- blockchain-related actions may become irreversible
Refunds or reversals may not be available after NFT activation has occurred.
6. Wallet Claims and Blockchain Transactions
Users may voluntarily claim marketplace credits and project NFTs to external blockchain wallets.
Blockchain transactions may be:
- irreversible
- permanent
- outside the direct control of the Platform
The Platform generally cannot:
- reverse blockchain transfers
- recover incorrectly transferred assets
- restore lost wallet access
- retrieve private keys
Users remain responsible for verifying wallet addresses and transaction details before confirming blockchain transactions.
7. Failed Transactions and Technical Errors
The Platform may review transaction-related issues involving:
- failed payments
- duplicate charges
- interrupted processing
- technical platform errors
- unsuccessful blockchain confirmations
- system malfunctions
Resolution measures may include:
- transaction cancellation
- reprocessing
- account credit adjustments
- discretionary refunds where appropriate
The Platform may require verification before resolving disputed transactions.
8. Fraud Prevention and Chargebacks
The Platform may restrict or deny refunds where reasonably necessary to prevent:
- fraud
- abuse of platform systems
- chargeback misuse
- unauthorized activity
- sanctions violations
- suspicious transactional behavior
Users initiating improper chargebacks or fraudulent refund requests may be subject to:
- account restrictions
- suspension of services
- verification requirements
- termination of platform access
9. Provider-Supplied Assets
Campaign assets are supplied by independent third-party providers.
The Platform typically does not act as the legal seller or owner of campaign assets.
Issues related to:
- asset condition
- delivery timing
- registration
- logistics
- ownership transfer
may involve independent third-party provider processes.
10. No Guaranteed Outcomes
The Platform does not guarantee:
- campaign completion
- allocation outcomes
- receipt of campaign assets
- financial returns
- economic performance
Holding marketplace credits, project NFTs, or participation unit identifiers does not guarantee allocation or receipt of any specific asset.
Unsuccessful allocation outcomes, inactive campaign NFTs, or campaigns that do not proceed do not automatically entitle users to direct monetary refunds.
Where applicable, the Platform may instead provide equivalent-value participation vouchers, replacement campaign eligibility, or ecosystem-based replacement mechanisms.
11. Consumer Protection Rights
Nothing in this Policy is intended to limit mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply under applicable law.
Certain jurisdictions may provide users with additional cancellation or refund rights.
Where legally required, the Platform may honor applicable statutory consumer rights.
12. Compliance and Verification Requirements
The Platform may require:
- identity verification
- payment verification
- transaction review
- fraud prevention checks
- AML / KYC procedures
before processing certain refund requests or transaction resolutions.
13. Refund Processing
Approved refunds, where applicable, may be processed through:
- the original payment method
- account credit adjustments
- alternative resolution procedures
Refund timing may vary depending on:
- payment provider processing
- blockchain confirmation status
- verification procedures
- banking systems
14. Non-Custodial Interaction Model
Where blockchain functionality is involved, users generally retain control of their own wallets, private keys, and digital assets.
The Platform generally does not hold user private keys or directly control decentralized blockchain networks.
Users assume risks associated with self-managed blockchain interactions.
15. Changes to this Policy
The Platform may modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy periodically.
Updated versions may be published on the Platform with a revised effective date.
Continued use of the Platform may constitute acceptance of updated terms where permitted by law.
